As I see it...

I appreciate...my wonderful husband, my loving cats, my pretty stable life, courtesy, generosity, kindness, serenity, Manolo Blahnik, Neiman Marcus, M.A.C. cosmetics, our freedom, wisdom, gratitude, learning, teaching. I don't appreciate...bad-ass kids being raised by bad-ass parents, people who don't learn from their mistakes, bad odor, cheap clothes, bad tippers, women who think dick is the answer to all questions, bad designer imitations.

Putang Ina, George!

My uncle George has really disappointed me. His china cabinet has been stored in our garage since he moved out of Brockton Road and to date, he has given Melvin and me no less than a million excuses why he can't pick the shyt up. When he first dropped his cabinet off, he said he would only be storing it in our garage for a few weeks while he looked for an apartment. A few weeks of course turned into a few months, and when he was asked about it, he said he really had nowhere to put it since he had decided to stay home. Fine. We were really not pressed for space in the garage anyway so why the heck not.

Then in December when Melvin and I decided to build our home, I casually mentioned it to George that he needed to start thinking about where to move his china cabinet because we would be moving out of our duplex. He said fine. He assured us this would be taken care of.

I don't even want to talk about all the other numerous times between then and now when Melvin and I asked him to move his shyt out and he just kept making excuses because it is just too hurtful. Sounds corny but truly true. It is some hurtful shyt when you think you're cool with someone and they play you for a nut like this. But it's all good, baby, baby, because guess what? Even though it's an inconvenience taking that shyt all the way to the Goodwill, it'll be all worth it come tax time :o) I guess we should thank you after all, Unc.
