As I see it...

I appreciate...my wonderful husband, my loving cats, my pretty stable life, courtesy, generosity, kindness, serenity, Manolo Blahnik, Neiman Marcus, M.A.C. cosmetics, our freedom, wisdom, gratitude, learning, teaching. I don't appreciate...bad-ass kids being raised by bad-ass parents, people who don't learn from their mistakes, bad odor, cheap clothes, bad tippers, women who think dick is the answer to all questions, bad designer imitations.

"Two All Beef Patties, Special Sauce, Lettuce, Cheese...."

That's right, boys and girls, we got ourselves a Big Mac! And lemme tell you, it is all that and a bag of chips! Hubby and I got our beloved Mac (still unnamed at press time) last Tuesday and it has exceeded our expectations. We got the big-baller version, the 17-incher, which comes with:

17-inch TFT Display
1440x900 resolution
1.5GHz PowerPC G4
512K L2 cache
512MB DDR333 SDRAM
80GB Ultra ATA/100
ATI Mobility Radeon
9700 (64MB DDR)
Backlit Keyboard
Gigabit Ethernet
FireWire 400 & 800
AirPort Extreme built-in
DVI & S-Video out

It is just the sexiest thang!!!!! I am too in love with it :o) I don't know how I had ever lasted this long without a Mac. In college, I preferred using the Macs to the PCs in the computer lab. I thought then and still think now that Macs are much more user-friendly and intuitive than PCs. And let's not even talk about the graphics! Oh man, it would've really came in handy during my short stint as a webmistress. At the time, this webmistress Kiko was using one and that's all she did was brag about how stupendous her computer was. Of course, Mel and I thought she didn't know what she was thinking about. In retrospect, I think we were just jealous that we couldn't afford one.

This Mac-lovin' thang could be dangerous though, folks. I mean, what's next? Are we going to be shifting to the left? Only time will tell....
